ShopCity.com teams up with author Chuck Blakeman

His present company, The Crankset Group, provides outcome-based mentoring and advising for Business Owners, CEOs, and their growing businesses.  He speaks and works with businesses across the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Australasia.

Some of Mr. Blakeman’s past Fortune 5000 customers have included Microsoft, Apple, Sun Microsystems, United Airlines, and many more.   However, his focus over the last six years is local business owners, which he believes strongly is the future of business everywhere.

His in-the-trenches approach and commitment to working with independently owned businesses is a perfect complement to ShopCity's own local business mission.  Chuck takes the unusual approach that business owner’s don’t need more education, they need simple and effective tools to help them grow and manage their businesses.

"I'm deeply honored to become part of the ShopCity team," Chuck said. "They represent every local business value I've been championing for years.  It's very difficult to find such clear values alignment between organizations. ShopCity is every bit as committed to the success of the local business owner as The Crankset Group, and I will bring everything we have to our relationship with ShopCity.com and to the local business owners who align with them.”

Mr. Blakeman is a regular convention speaker, author, magazine contributor, and non-profit board member.  His new book, “Making Money is Killing Your Business” is radically changing the way business owners understand growth.

Chuck has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, CNNMoney.com, NYTimes.com, Bizjournals.com, Home Business Magazine and as a keynote speaker at events across the US, Africa and Ireland.

Chuck and the Crankset Group work with local business owners throughout the ShopCity.com network to help them get off the treadmill and build sustainable businesses that bring both success and significance to their owners.
