The most revolutionary aspect of the new website is the community marketplace. Every business in Mountain View can have an online storefront to list their products and/or services. Shoppers can browse through items, make purchases or reservations or simply make comments about the products and services of the participating businesses in Mountain View. All Chamber of Commerce Mountain View members will have enhanced profiles that include photos, descriptions and the ability to contact the business via email.
There will be more than 20,000 cities in the ShopCity network, including ShopNewYork.com, ShopBoston.com, ShopSF.com and ShopMiami.com. The Chamber of Commerce Mountain View is proud to announce that they are the first to adopt the platform.
